"And the child grew in wisdom, age and grace before God and men."
One would think it was all too much for any one man, or woman, to take.
You're a farmer with a significant disability, a wife who is anoemic and three daughters, one of which has four legs (and God who knows how many forthcoming medical procedures!)  What would you do?
You would expect William to suffer a major depression, perhaps run away from his family and give himself over to alcohol.  But then, you didn't know William Corbin.
Instead of considering his multiple-limbed newborn a liability, he thought her an asset.  As the advertisement below testifies, William began to show his incredible-looking daughter at the tender age of one month.
The exhibitions were a success which pretty much sealed the little girl's future, that is, until she was no longer a minor.
