| Originally, I saw this pitchcard in "Freaks Uncensored". I was fortunate to have bid and won it at auction on Ebay. I've never heard of "Moko" before or since but Eliz. Anderson at www.phreeque.com has noted that another pinhead who had the habit of holding his hands upturned was Clayton Snow (below) and wonders if it may be one and the same. |

| Moko's presentation was an unusual one for a performer with microcephaly. Usually "pinheads" were exhibited as wild people or "Aztecs". Considering that he was advertised as being a throw-back one would expect Moko to be dressed in leopard skins or some such outfit. Perhaps by dressing him neatly his manager thought this would cause even more confusion / amusement in the audience and make for an even greater draw. |
