Hiram Davis (Waino) is the older brother. Hiram's right leg turns in at the knee so that when standing the two knees almost touch. Hiram also had a wider forehead. I've noticed that his arm or arms are almost always held in a crook so that sometimes the photographer would have Barney do the same so as to balance out the photo. Hiram died in 1905.
Barney (Plutano) is the younger brother. He also had leg bone problems. Barney's right leg appears to be longer than his left so you'll notice when standing his right knee is always bent. Barney was also slightly taller than Hiram. He died in 1912.
The brothers are often referred to as midgets as they were about 3 1/2 - 4 feet tall.
