Frank Coleman was a Texas attorney who gained fame as Robert L. Ripley's "armless marvel". Coleman's particular message wass that help- lessness frequently is a matter of morale and since he had overcome his own handicap had appeared on programs frequently to demonstrate his point. He used a typewriter, drew pictures and played the vibra-harp in addition to driving his own car. During World War II, Coleman had a dual role with the Veterans Administration, doing legal work and giving programs in veterans hospitals. |
