| (left) A photo from the author's collection of Jose with fellow performer, sword-swallower Mimi Garneau. I wish I knew more about Jose. I believe he was born in Mexico perhaps in Pachuca, Hidalgo State as this is written on some of his photos. He was active in the 1940's and 50's but I have no idea whatever became of him. |
