Robert Kantor as "Little Lord Robert" appeared alongside Ruby with the Ringling Brothers circus around 1907 - 1909. The two were rumoured to be sweethearts but it was all a good-natured publicity prank. Ruby was only 10 years old in 1909 and Robert probably not much older. Robert had a brief appearance in MGM's 1939 motion picture "The Wizard of Oz". It is believed he died in NYC. |

read or heard of the expensive accouterments buried with the midget lady and shamelessly desecrated Ruby's grave in search of the treasure. What they actually found and took has never been ascertained but the underhanded and profane deed had already been done.
Ruby's body was reinterred and has remained undisturbed since, in Springdale cemetery. |

Otto Sarony (1859 - 1903) was the son of famed New York photographer Napoleon Sarony. I'm curious to know why Ruby was dressed in such an outfit = an obvious departure from the pretty dresses she normally wore in all her other portraits. Perhaps she had a small stage appearance |
