| Not much is known of Mr. Ben Green. In this biographical pamplet published in the late 30's he relates that he was born in 1904 and was one of six children. He notes that he has been exhibited 20 years but I'm betting he started late in life. He mentions that he is single and contented and that the only thing that bothers him is the heat. Mr. Green's skin condition occluded his sweat glands so in order to stay cool he literally had to moisten himself with ice water in the summer. He concludes - "I was born and still remain a mystery to science. If you enjoyed my part of the show tell your friends, send them and come again. I thank you." |
